Undertaken as part of the CS4052: Work-Based Learning university course.

As part of my placement I:

Investigated & Researched AI tools and where they could be used within the Industrial App Store
Implemented a prototype chatbot using MCP technologies to allow LLMs to draw conclusions about historical data

Foundation Apprenticeship Placement, Onsite, Fixed-Term, November 2021 - March/April 2022

Undertaken as part of the IT: Hardware and System Support Foundation Apprenticeship alongside my secondary studies.

As part of my placement I:

Refurbished and provisioned new computing equipment for the company's office in Edinburgh, ensuring that the devices were imaged and set up in accordance with company policy and security requirements
Organised hardware that was in storage and ensured that any surplus equipment was recycled securely
Dealt with end-user tickets and requests
Assisted the company’s migration to a new internal messaging platform (Yammer)
