Other Interests
Aside from computing, I've got a number of other interests. I'm interested in urban design - particularly around public transport and walkability. Related, I'm a fan of brutalist architecture! There's something about the scale of the large, imposing concrete structures that just fascinates me.
I'm also a yielder of an unlimited cinema pass (whose identity will stay anonymous) as I watch a lot of films in the cinema. To judge my taste, check out my letterboxd.
Subdomains
aberdeen.loris.uk, a website created for my first-year web development class. It has sentimental value, so it will be online until GitHub discontinues (or starts charging for) pages.
beer.loris.uk, a joke website about tracking spend on beer. Formerly on loris.beer, sadly .beer registrations are expensive. Could use some automation.
greg.loris.uk, a way to translate and calculate grades across the different scaling systems used within the University of Aberdeen. Helpful for performing "student mathematics" - the act of calculating the lowest possible grade required to pass the class.
